Eating one meal a day is a form of intermittent fasting where one eats in about a one hour time frame.

A lot of people are fasting and eating one meal a day, and it has become very popular for many reasons.

Making healthy choices around nutrition while following the one meal a day diet is not hard if you go about it correctly.

What you eat on one meal a day is important. While it can help people lose weight it is not good to eat junk food or processed food.

You will learn how to do OMAD while eating in a healthy manner from this video because being thin does not mean someone is healthy.

When wondering what to eat on one meal a day you will find it easier to do it gradually and incorporate more fats like in a Keto diet.

Make sure you also take in enough calories with one meal a day.

OMAD, or any fasting, can crash your metabolism if your not getting enough calories.

To lose weight you must eat less calories - food a day.

For instance I am trying to lose weight.

I currently eat only one meal a day around 3 PM.

I am in a fasting state for 23 Hours.

When I consume less protein and carbs I lose weight.

I am using a keto method during my one meal a day.

I consume a max of 62g Protein - 20g Carbs - 177g Fat.

Its important for me not to consume more than the above if I want to lose weight.

The amount of protein, carbs and fat you normally consume will be different according to your height, age, sex, and current weight.

When you know what you normally need to maintain you current weight and want to lose weight you can then figure out how much Protein, Carbs and Fat you need to eat to reduce your weight.

If you follow a keto plan and have induced your body into a keto fat burning state by comsuming less than your body's maintenance weight requirement - COWABUNGA - you will state losing weight!

After I get down to my ideal weight I will consume more to maintain my ideal weight.

The bottom line is this:

If you eat less protein and carbs - eat more fat you will lose weight.

To do this your body must be in a fat burning state.

If you start intermittant fasting you can put your body into a fat burning state.

 

 


 

 


 

OMAD.

One Meal A Day.

A 1 hour meal window.

One large meal nutrient dense.

The fact that your fasting 23 hours will help your immune system, your brain, for your anti aging, and for cell repair.

Try to eat the one meal no later than 3 PM for optimal results.

The later you eat can disturb you sleep cycles.

The better the sleep, the less cortisol and the more growth hormone your will have.

The more fat burning and energy will be improved.

Adding exercise in the morning will help in weight loss.

Be sure to stay hydrated along with making sure your are adding minerals.
