There were several coverups of the Kennedy Assassination.

The Secret Service and the CIA were involved in the assassination of Kennedy.
The CIA altered version of the Zapruder film was shown on Good Night America March 6, 1975. What was shown on national TV was a CIA altered version of the original Zapruder film that fitted the CIA and Secret Service narrative and allowed these agencies to maintain their coverup of the truth of who assassinated Kennedy.

Dick Gregory made some comments about what he did the day of the murder of JFK.
He recorded at his home many tv and radio broadcasts the day of the Kennedy assassination.
He says that about 4 hours into taping he started hearing on the tv and radio people being interviewed again and what they were saying was DIFFERENT than what they had said the first time they were interviewed!
The only common denominator was that they had talked to the Secret Service.

The Men Who Killed Kennedy is a video documentary series by Nigel Turner that
originally aired in 1988 in England with two one-hour segments about the John F.
Kennedy assassination. The United States corporation, Arts & Entertainment
Company, purchased the rights to the original two segments.
Three one-hour segments were added in 1991. A sixth segment was added in 1995. Finally, three additional hourly segments were added by the History Channel in November 2003. The ninth segment, titled "The Guilty Men", directly implicated Lyndon B. Johnson.
Within days, Johnson's widow, Lady Bird Johnson, more of his surviving associates, ex-President Jimmy Carter, and the lone, living Warren Commission commissioner and ex-President Gerald R. Ford immediately complained to the History Channel. They subsequently threatened legal action against Arts & Entertainment Company, owner of the History Channel. "The Guilty Men" segment was completely withdrawn by the History Channel.
Also during the series, French prisoner Christian David named Lucien Sarti as one of three French criminals hired to carry out the assassination of Kennedy, when he was interviewed by author Anthony Summers. This claim is one of the most strongly investigated theories presented on the show.

Dallas Patrolman J. D. Tippit’s shooter has recently died.
Tippit was not killed by Lee Harvey Oswald as was/is claimed by the U.S. Government, the U.S. News Media, and last but not least, The Warren Commission Report.
The shooter was in route to meet, and kill Lee Harvey Oswald at the Texas Theatre where Oswald had been directed to go by his CIA handler, David Atlee Phillips, who was also James E. Sutton’s CIA handler.
David Atlee Phillips, Sam Giancana, and Charles Nicoletti all probably had some knowledge, which can not be quantified at this point in time.

The man who killed J.D. Tippit according to James Files has since been identified as Gary Eugene Marlow.
Marlow didn't kill oswald. The CIA had to elimate Oswald before he exposed their plot to kill Kennedy.
The second man who was sent to kill Oswald was Jack Ruby.
In the video/book JFK absolute proof the killing of a president Rober Groden says kennedy was helped into office by the mob and the mob didn't get their payoff which was not to be prosecuted by the kennedy administration.
Robert Kennedy was made attorney general because of his father and he went after the mob.
Robert Groden says kennedy was assassinated to stop robert kennedy from investigating and prosecuting the mob and because John Kennedy did not keep his promise to lay off the mob when it office.
Remember the mob got kennedy into office as explained in the video.
(My question would be why did the secret service, and the cia also make the assassinaion happen? It would have not happened without their cooperation and help.)
