Kale Shake

INGREDIENTS:

Handful Kale

Water

Frozen berries (you can instead use flavored stevia.)

DIRECTIONS:

Just make sure you use less than 1 cup of berries and you will be fine!

Mix together frozen berries, kale, and water in a blender.  

This is a great way to add healthy carbs to a meal.

Kale-Ginger Detox Smoothie

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth. If necessary, add more almond milk to help your blender process the frozen fruit.

 



Kale and Strawberry Energy Boosting Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup curly or purple kale (chopped, packed)
1 ½ cups strawberries (frozen)
1 coconut (young)
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp maple syrup OR coconut nectar
½ cup cashews (optional)
2 drops strawberry extract
1 cup ice

Directions

  1. Remove coconut meat. Save coconut water.
  2. Combine kale, strawberries. coconut meat, hemp seeds, maple syrup/coconut nectar, strawberry extract, ice, and (optionally) cashews in a Blendtec blender. Blend together on high until mixture reaches desired consistency.
  3. Add coconut water if smoothie is too thick.
  4. Use more or less ice to reach desired temperature.
